About Me

Born in Fethiye in 1978, Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Acar; completed my primary, secondary, and high school education in Fethiye, and continued his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine between 1995-2001. After graduating in 2001, he started working as an assistant in Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and completed his specialty education in 2006.

After performing his military service at Ankara GATA Hospital in 2006-2007, he worked at Rize 82. Yıl State Hospital to complete his compulsory service and continued this duty during 2007-2009.

 

Dr. Acar continued his career as an ENT Specialist at Yunus Emre State Hospital between 2009-2018 and was entitled to be an associate professor in March 2018. He has been working at Eskişehir City Hospital since October 2018.

He has a professional interest in nose aesthetics (Rhinoplasty), sleep apnea, swallowing, and voice disorders. 

 

He attended many congresses and courses especially on Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty) and attended special trainings on this issue with  Turkey’s leading names.

Dr. Acar also carries out detailed studies in the fields of Sleep Respiratory Diseases (Sleep Apnea) and Snoring. Being in charge of the the sleep laboratory for the hospital where he works for 8 years, he has been performing the operations that may be necessary to treat the disease by closely monitoring the patients with sleep apnea and snoring.

 

Another group of disease that Acar takes special interest in is Swallowing Disorders. After getting education at Hacettepe University Ingestion Disorders Diagnosis and Treatment Center, he attended various courses on the subject in Spain. Since 2016, he has been performing the diagnosis and treatment of patients with swallowing disorders together with the swallowing pathologist Müzeyyen Çiğiltepe.

 

He also focuses on voice disorders and sound therapy. Acar has gained a deep experience thanks to the special training he has received and many patients he has followed, and he is performing sound therapy with the Lax Vox Method.

 

Turkish folk dances are his primary interests in social life. He continued to play folk dances from the first grade of primary school to the last grade of the university. He worked as a master trainer in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Folk Community and Gazi University Faculty of Commerce and Tourism and took part in many competitions in this process.

 

He has been dealing with natural agriculture in recent years. He is married and has two children.
